Wire Closet Organizer Can Double Size Of Closet

If you take an objective look at your bedroom closet you will probably see a lot of wasted space. Most closets have on rod for hanging clothes with a shelf over it to hold purses, hats, scarves and other items that do no bode well on a hanger. In most closets, this shelf has a lot of wasted space on top and nothing lower than the hanging clothes except a floor, or a clump of shoes and a pile of scarves and ties.

A wire closet organizer can make quick work of that wasted space and add a lot of room to your existing closet. Shelves can be added at almost any height and width and places for hanging clothing can be stacked over another one to create a separate space for tops and pants. Additional areas can be configured with a wire closet organizer to hold longer dresses, gowns and coats without giving up a lot of space.

Before running out and buying a complete wire closet organizer system or Rubbermaid closet organizer, you will want to take stock of your needs. If you have more shirts or tops than you have hats and purses, you will want to have more hanger space. However, if tops and pants are outnumbered by purses, scarves and other items that do not hang, you will want a wire closet organizer that more shelves than places to put hangers.

In some households, the husband and wife share a closet and there seems to be enough room for both sets of clothes. A single hanging rod can create a lot of friction especially if one person's hanging clothes are on rods in a spare room or in the basement. By using a wire closet organizer the couple's clothing can brought together once more. There are hangers for pants that allow them to take up less space than the pants are long, and they can go on a hanger under the rod holding the shirts.

While a rotating tie holder is nice and makes choosing a tie quicker, it also takes up more space that ties really need. With many of the wire closet organizers, ties can be placed on a rack that folds up instead of rotates and when a tie is needed, it can be pulled out and then returned to the space that is only as wide as the widest tie in the collection.

Shoes are always an issue with closets and most of the time in order to find the mate to the pair that is used the least involves crawling around the floor of the closet with a flashlight. With only one or two pairs of shoes, there is usually no issue, but with more than three pair for each person using the closet, it can be a scavenger hunt trying to put a pair of shoes together.

A shoe shelf built into a wire closet organizer can keep the shoes off the floor and in sight for easier selection and the flashlight can go back into the drawer in the kitchen or garage.
